Wild
Chalet is a nine -acre Jungle
Lodge on the banks of the river
Banjar, situated on the periphery of the Kanha National Park (Madhya
Pradesh, India). It provides accommodation in rustic
cottages that overlook the river, equipped with all modern
amenities and comforts.
For
the guests there is a nature library, wildlife movies,
resident Naturalists to chat with or sit by the campfire.
In
the wild, guests can take a ride to the jungle, venture
further and explore the rich valley fed by rivers and lakes.
In the dense sal and bamboo forests where over 350 species of
birds and some rare flora and fauna flourish. One can indulge
in generous dose of Birds watching, nature walks, swimming,
fishing and boating and not the least Tracking down the tiger
in KANHA National Park.
Wild
Chalet provides guides on every jungle safari ride who
points out the signs along the way - the pugmark, the drag of
a kill - and other signals that indicate possibility of a
tiger sighting. Guest can travel on a jeep or on the back of
an elephant.
