Singiniwa is an eco-tourism initiative with a strong focus on wild life conservation.
It is world class resort in the tiger heartland of India at Mukki, Kanha
(Madhya Pradesh, India).
Singinawa Jungle Lodge is managed by Nanda and Latika Rana. Nanda is from the Royal Rana family of Nepal but has spent over 20 years studying tigers in the forests of Madhya Pradesh. Latika is a wildlife biologist with a D.Phil. on Tiger Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford. She is the first ever woman to be awarded a doctorate on tiger conservation and management.
HOW TO GET THERE
By Train : Railheads at Jabalpur, Nagpur, Gondia, Raipur and Bilaspur can be used to get to Kanha.
By Air : Nagpur, Raipur and Jabalpur are commercial airports which
get scheduled flights. There is a small airport in Baihar, a mere 5` kms from Singinawa that can be used for Chartered Flights and Private Aircrafts.
By Road : Mukki is the main entry points to the Kanha National park and is 12 kms. from
Singinawa. Nagpur via Balaghat (289 km), Jabalpur via Mandla (203 km), Bilaspur(182km), Raipur (213km) and Balaghat (83km)
Kanha
is typically visited as a weekend Getaway Ex-Nagpur / Jabalpur or as a part
of MP Itinerary covering Pench, Pachmarhi,
Jabalpur and Bandhavgarh. |
