Drives The Ranthambhore National Park is said to be the finest place
in the world to see wild tigers. It is open to visitors for eight hours a day,
broken into two segments – morning and afternoon. While the timings change marginally
depending on the time of sunrise and sunset, they are usually from 06:30 a.m.
to 10:30 a.m. for the Morning drive, and 2:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the afternoon
drive. There are two ways to go for your Jungle Safari. The
first is on a 6-seater ‘Jeep’. The Rajasthan Forest Department allows only 15
Jeeps into the park on a first cum basis, hence the urgency for early bookings.
The other is the 20 seater ‘Canter’ Safari Vehicle. A seat can be booked even
on arrival at Camp, but it is advisable to book this in advance during peak season,
December and January. Note:
There are 2 safaris each day. General timings (subject to change)
are: Morning: 0630 hrs to 1030 hrs; Afternoon: 1400
hrs to 1800 hrs. The
Rajasthan Forest Department strictly regulates entry into the National Park.
All Tariffs are subject to change without notice.
