Seychelles - Things to do

Fishing Alphonse Island holds large stocks of bonefish in the world. It has a large diversity of species in the world available on fly. Fly fishing excursions for both novice and experienced anglers is available.

Diving - Yacht vacations and diving excursions are readily available with PADI dive centre with multilingual instructors (English, French, German and Italian). Whether planning for a party of eight or a free-spirited solo adventure, yacht vacations promise a unique experience, with full day dive/snorkelling trips around Mahé, Praslin and La Digue on offer, as well as a number of dive courses and dive excursions, including liveaboard trips.

Walks and Trails - You can discover the rare beauty of these islands where many of the approximately 250 indigenous plants (75 of which are only found in Seychelles) grow in remote areas, only accessible by foot and usually inaccessible to the average tourist.

Watersport - Motorised as well as non-motorised watersport options including pedaloes, canoes, windsurfs and sailing is available at different points in Seychelles.

Nature Reserve : Aride Island, one of the finest jewels in the Indian Ocean, is also one of the world's most important Nature Reserves. Blessed with a wealth of natural treasures Aride has remained a wild and beautiful paradise. Aride is home to one million breeding seabirds of ten species, endemic birds such as Magpie Robins, Fodies, Brush Warblers and Blue Pigeon, Endemic Plants like wrights Gardenia and Turtle beaches and rich marine life. No vessels other than those of the reserve are allowed to land on Aride Island. As such visitors will have to disembark from their vessel and board the islands' boat for transfer onto the island.

Church - Imposing Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Catholic Diocese in Seychelles. Constructed on the site where Father Leon of Avanchers built the first vault in March 1851 that was devoted to the Virgin of the immaculate conception, the Cathedral is one of the first churches in Seychelles. 

Beaches - Seychelles has numerous beaches spread all around it where one can swim, snorkel, surf or just take a long walk.
