In Kolkata : -
Kalighat Temple - originally built in the 12th century, is regarded as
one of the 51 Shakti Peethams of India, where the various parts of Sati's body
are said to have fallen, in the course of Shiva's Rudra Tandava. -
Nakhoda Mosque - was built in 1926, can accommodate 10000 worshippers at
a time; built in Indo-Saracenic architecture style. -
St. Paul's Cathedral Church - was constructed by Bishop Willson in 1847
and is the first Episcopal Church of the East. -
Gurudwara Badi Sangat - Guru Nanakdevji stayed here on his return journey
from Dacca to Punjab and so a Gurudwara was built in his memory. For
