Lingaraja
Temple - this 11th century temple houses a 147 feet high tower dominating
the landscape. The presiding deity is the Svayambhu Linga - half Shiva, half Vishnu.
There are 150 shrines in the compound. -
Mukteshwara Temple - This 10th century temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The temple is famous for a well which is said to cure fertility problems. -
Rajrani Temple - this 11th century is famous for its ornate duel, or compass,
decorated with some of the most impressive Oriya temple architecture and has no
presiding deity. -
Brahmeshwara Temple - temple houses a living deity, which is indicated
by the saffron pennant flying from the top of the sanctuary. -
Ananta Vasudeva Temple - dates back to the 13th century and houses idols
of Balarama standing under a seven hooded serpent, while Krishna is seen holding
a mace and a conch. For
