get both fulfillments of desires as well as salvation from them. It is said that
both Shri Lakshmi and Shri Vishnu reside in this area eternally and shall not
leave even at the time of Mahaprayakala. -
Bahubali of Kumbhojgiri (27 kms from Kolhapur) - has a 28 feet tall marble

Aundha
Nanded Temple - is considered to be the first of the 12 sacred Lord Shiva
shrines - Jyotirlingas and is famous for exquisite carvings. -
Sach Khand Huzur Sahib Gurudwara -is the place where Guru Govind Singh's
ashes were buried. Some of the sacred relics of Guru Gobind Singh are also preserved

Mumbai: -
Ghurumeshwar
- is situated in Visalakam, near the Ellora caves and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

Haji Ali Dargah - the tomb of the Muslim saint Haji Ali, who died on a
pilgrimage to Mecca and miraculously his casket floated back to these shores.
The Dargah is set 500 yards into the sea and can be reached only in low tide.

Babul Nath Temple - built in 1780, a stone lingam of Shiva is worshipped
here. -
Surya Narayan Temple - original structure was built some 200 years ago
and the present temple structure supplanted in about 1830. The lingam at Bhuleshwar
is said to have miraculously risen to its position. -
Mahalaxmi Temple - is the oldest temple in Mumbai, the idols of the Goddess
and her two sisters are said to have been found in the sea. -
Mahim Shrine - is the shrine of Makhtum Fakir AliParu and was built after
his death in 1413. -
Siddhi Vinayak- is dedicated to Ganesh and was rebuilt on the site of a
