Palitana
Temples - situated on a Shatrunjay hilltop, Palitana has over 863 temples,
built in the 11th and the 12th century and are carved in marbles. It is said all
the Jain Tirthankars, excepting Neminath, had attained nirvana here. Some of these
temples have a fabulous collection of jewels, which can be seen with special permission.

Dwarkadish Temple -
is dedicated to Lord Krishna, is 78.3 mts high and is built on 72 pillars. Vajranabha,
Lord Krishna's grandson built the temple. The Jagat temple, which forms the sanctum
of this temple, is at least 2500 years old. -
Nageshwar
Mahadev - is one of the 12 sacred Lord Shiva shrines - Jyotirlingas in an

Lord Shiva shrines - Jyotirlingas in India. It is said - the Moon (Soma) with
his wife Rohini worshipped the deity of the temple, the Sparsha Ling, to free
himself from the curse of his father-in-law. Lord Shiva pleased with his penance
restored his light for half of the month. Ambaji
Temple : (60 kms from Palanpur) - is the seat of Goddess Amba, situated on
the Arasur hill in the Aravali Range. The temple does not contain any idol; it
