The
Old Courtyard Hotel is a heritage hotel is located at Fort
Cochin (Kerala,
India). The hotel, built over 200 years ago as a private
residence, incorporates the best of Colonial Portugese
architecture. It has been restored to its original grandeur,
with ancient arches and alcoves around an enchanting
courtyard. The hotel has eight rooms overlooking the
courtyard. Each room, with its restored wooden floors,
old furniture and unique four poster beds with mirrors and
tiles fitted in the wood work, transports guests to a bygone
era of luxury and comfort.
