Route : Orchha (1) - Khajuraho / Panna (2) or Khajuraho (1) / Panna (1) - Bandhavgarh (3) 

Highlight : This is a tourist Itinerary that covers heritage destinations of Orchha (Riverside heritage town) and Khajuraho (Unique Temples with carving having erotic poses, Jain temples) and Tiger sanctuaries & wildlife destinations of Panna and Bandhavgarh. 

Suggested Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the activities may vary and depend on prevailing weather condition and guest preferences)

Day 1: Arrive at Jhansi. Transfer to Orchha (15 kms). Take evening stroll around the Fort and temples of Orchha.
Day 2: After breakfast leave for Khajuraho (170 kms - 5 hours). Do evening Sightseeing of the Khajuraho Temples and visit evening light show.
Day 3: After Breakfast Do a day sightseeing to Panna (26 kms) and surrounding areas and evening Park Safari.
Day 4 : Proceed to Bandhavgarh (260 kms - 6 hours). 
Day 5 and 6: Morning and Evening Park Safaris
Day 7:  Proceed to Umaria (32 kms) / Katni (120 kms) / Jabalpur (200 kms) for onward journey. 

Extensions

• Amarkantak a Pilgrimage and nature centric destination is 200+ kms from Bandhavgrh via Shahdol. For wildlife oriented guests Achanakmar wildlife Sanctuary is just 25 kms away in neighboring Chhattisgarh. In such case guest can exit from Bilaspur (Station) or Raipur (Airport).

• Kanha, another renowned Park (one of the best in India in terms of overall park experience) is 260 kms from Bandhavgarh and from there guest can proceed to Nagpur via Pench (170 kms) or straight to Nagpur (255 kms) or to Jabalpur (170 kms) onwards possibly even to Pachmarhi (3000+ ft asl)  / Satpura (3000+ ft asl) the given time (Via Pipariya - Day train from Jabalpur to Pipariya - 3 hours).

Seasonality - Oct-March is good season generally in terms of weather. Best time would be around Khajuraho Dance Festival in end of Feb. Weather is not terribly cold and foggy as sometimes is in End Dec and Jan and skies are clear then aiding good sightings.
