Seasonality -
Oct-March is a good time weather wise. It gets real cold and foggy in
end Dec - Jan and so days when its gets foggy and cold, sighting is not as
good and also its tough getting out in early mornings for a safari.
Feb-April is drier and therefore easier to spot birds. Lesser waterholes and
therefore easier to find wildlife around them. Oct-Dec is greener. April-May
are hottest of all months but that's when wildlife photographers arrive.
Less tourists, less waterholes and so sightings are very good. Migratory
birds are spotted during Oct-March period but best duration within that is
Feb-March. |
