Note
-
Dudhsagar
Waterfalls in Goa are an attractions in Monsoon / Winter and
so a stay around Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary could be
considered as well as an extension.
-
Chorla
Ghats / Dandeli to Mumbai are quite a distance (550 kms -
9-10 hours). So a transit stay either at Panhala or Kolhapur
or Belgaum could be considered (while approaching
destinatiosn via NH-4). On the return if one takes NH-17,
then Chiplun is an excellent
stopover option.

Accommodation
Options - Dandeli - Chorla
Ghats - Dudhsagar Transport
: Ex-Pune, Ex-Mumbai, Ex-Belgaum, Ex-Goa and Ex-Kolhapur Transport can be organised
at actual costs.
Seasonality
- This circuit could be done all round the year. However
considering it rains a lot in Dandeli in Monsoon (June-Sept),
unless one likes lot of rains its not the best season then.
Access
: Most guests end up driving in from Mumbai / Pune / Kolhapur /
Belgaum or Goa. Londa (36 kms) / Belgaum (60 kms) are best
arrival points for Dandeli by Train (on the
Mumbai-Pune-Bangalore Southern rail route). Thivim (North Goa)
is closest railhead to Chorla Ghats but Belgaum (80 kms) isnt
too far away. Karmali / Madgaon would be closer for Dudhsagar.
