Wildlife

 

Masai Mara

Most famous of the Game Reserves and famous for the Wildebeest Migration.

Lake Nakuru 

Vast lakefront and home to a large flamingo population. Game Reserve around the lake is home to White Rhinos

Amboseli

Renowned for its elephant populations and large herds, including some impressively tusked bulls are drawn to a series of large, lush swamplands

The Samburu region

Best place to find several endemic Northern species, such as the Reticulated Giraffe.

Tsavo

Birdwatcher’s paradise with numerous species of weavers, hornbills, sunbirds, rollers, and raptors commonly seen

Abardares

The Aberdares are the third highest range of mountains in Kenya, reaching a summit of just over 4000m. This massive range is well known for its thick salient forests, and their prolific game.

Beaches  

South Coast Beaches

The coastline south of Mombassa is a tropical paradise of palm fringed white sand beaches, where the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean meet beautiful coral reefs.

North Coast Beaches

The coast north of Mombassa is lined with pristine palm fringed beaches, and the calm inviting waters of the Indian Ocean. The beaches are broken by the wide mouth of Kilifi Creek, whose azure waters are a popular port of call on the international yachting circuit.
