The
Ken River Lodge is located in Madla on the banks of Ken River and 2 km from
Panna National Park in the state of
Madhya Pradesh.
The forest surrounding Ken River Lodge is dry and decidious, and is populated by Teak, Flame of the forest, Tendu, Indian Ebony and Mahua. This scenic countryside is home to numerous species of birds such as the spur fowl, Treepie, Paradise fly catcher, Babblers and Parakeet.
The Ken River with its fresh, clear water, flows through the ravines of the Vendhya range and sustains the varied wildlife of Panna National Park. Spread across 542 sq km, Panna National Park is home to rich variety of animal life which includes Tiger, Panther, Sloth Bear, Sambhar, Cheetal Bluebull, Chowsingha, Magar, Chinkara and the lesser mammals.
