Ladakh - 03 - Short Break with Monasteries and Nubra Valley 

Route - Leh (Arrival by flight) - Leh (2 nights) - Nubra Valley (1 night) - Leh (1 night) - Departure from Leh (By flight)

Highlight - This is a short break itinerary where guests enjoys visiting remote arid landscape of Ladakh, a high altitude drive, a high altitude desert and some sightseeing in and around Leh (Monasteries) and possibly even do rafting in Zanskar.

Itinerary

• Day 01: Arrive Leh Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Evening Visit to Leh Market & Shanti Stupa. Overnight at Hotel.
  
  

• Day 02: Leh (Excursion To Monasteries) Post Breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery tour including Shey, The ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, Stok Palace & Sindhu Ghat. Packed Lunch will be provided or Hot Lunch at Kalden Home Stay in Stok. Overnight at Hotel.
  
  

• Day 03: Leh to Hunder (nubra valley) (126 kms / aprx. 06 hrs) After an early breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley leads through Khardung-la-pass (the highest Motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

• Day 04: Hunder (Nubra Valley) - Leh After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh over Khardung La. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight at hotel.
  
  

• Day 05: Depart Leh (Fly Out) Tour concludes. We thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination.

Access - Leh gets direct flights from Delhi and is best mode of access for a short-break such as this.

Seasonality - Mid-may - Sept is best time to visit Ladakh.

Cost of this package (per person in rupees) - Valid from Jan to Dec.

• All the above mentioned rates are per person rates on twin sharing · Child Cost is on APAI basis sharing room with parents.
