Gulmarg : Gulmarg (8,000 ft asl) is a mountain resort of exceptional beauty. Snow peak views are all over Gulmarg and attracts visitors. It also has the highest golf course in the world (Operational in Summer), and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter (Jan-March).  Gondola (Cable car ride) in Gulmarg is popular. The Cable car takes to 13,000 ft asl and here one can find snow even in Summer. Pony ride and walking around the area is also a popular recreation for children and adults.
