- This is good for those who like walking and also for those
who want to just idle around and have a nature centric experience. Good for
honeymooners who want to stay cut off and enjoy a quiet getaway. |
Access - Delhi
gets trains and flights all over the country and is an international airport.
Chandigarh is a better access point for this itinerary. Bhuntar near Kullu (50
kms from Manali) now gets direct flights from Delhi.
Seasonality - Recommended
time is from April - November for the full itinerary (Subject to Opening
of Jalori Pass). Guest arriving in winter may experience snowfall but may
not be therefore able to cross Jalori Pass if the snowfall is heavy.
Distances -
Chandigarh - Thanedar (NH-22) - 190 kms - 6 hours
Narkanda - Sojha - 85 kms (3 hours)
