Festival Of Gardens - The biggest rose show in the country, also known as 'Rose Festival' is celebrated in the last week of February. Zakir Rose garden, the venue of the Rose festival, displays huge varieties of roses. The festival includes flower shows, performances of music and dance; both classical and folk, exhibitions by local artists, photographers and craftsman.

The Surajkund Crafts Mela - The Surajkund Crafts Mela is organized annually by the Haryana Tourism Department in the month of February.

Surajkund Mela features handloom and handicrafts and promotes traditional Indian Handicrafts and ever since its inception in 1981, Surjakund fair has grown in stature every year and is a platform for Indian artists and craftsmen to display their skilled crafts and artwork.

Here one can find paintings, textiles, wood stock, ivory work, pottery, terracotta, stonework, lac work and cane and grass work. In the evening the trade fair features folk dances and musical evenings at the open-air theatre.

Dehati Mela - Dehati Mela is basically celebrated at Ladana in the Kaithal district of Haryana over a week. This fair is quite popular among the locals. Highlight of the festival comprise folk dances, music performances and fireworks.

Kapalmochan Mela - Kapal Mochan Mela is the famous religious fair held during Kartik Purnima at Bilaspur in Yamunanagar district of Haryana. It is celebrated for last four days in the month of Kartik. Kapal Mochan Mela concludes on Kartik Poornima day. Approximately one million people perform Kartik Snan in Kapal Mochan sarovars. Devotees lit diyas on the banks of three sarovars in Kapal Mochan.

It is believed that Kartik Snan and lighting diya at Kapal Mochan sarovar relieves the sins of all the three Yugas. As per the Hindu beliefs, in this place Sage Ved Vyas performed his Vedic rituals and compiled the Vedas and the Puranas.

The Pinjore Heritage Festival - The Pinjore Heritage Festival is held every year at Pinjore Haryana at Pinjore Gardens. The garden is lit up and forms backdrop of the festival. Pinjore Gardens are one of the oldest Mughal gardens and a popular tourist spot.

There are number of cultural programmes held during the festival. Visitors to the festivals can also enjoy local cuisine. In 2010 Kashmir Tourism participated in the fair and presented guests with local cuisine of Kashmir.

Competitions are organized for children as well during the festival.

Geeta Jayanti Festival / Kurukshetra Festival - Kurukshetra has been hub of pilgrimage for as long as the history itself. Sage Manu wrote the Manusmriti here. Kurukshetra was visited by divine personalities like Lord Krishna, Gautama Buddha and some eminent Sikh Gurus and therefore an important pilgrimage stopover.

During December, Geeta Jayanti Festival / Kurukshetra Festival is held in Kurukshetra when pilgrims from all over gather here. A normal ritual observed is to take bath in holy water of the sacred tanks - Sannihit Sarovar and Brahma Sarovar.

Performances are held during the festival that the event is graced by higher Govt. Offcials Chief Minister
