This majestic castle was built purely as an administrative castle and today its five floors are home to a historical museum highlighting the regions history. Concerts and other public events are continued to be held in its well-preserved hall. The tall corner towers of the Thun Castle offer spectacular views of the city, Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps.

    This is Switzerland's first and only underground cave museum located on the shores of Lake Thun. The place is mystical embellished with stalactites, stalagmites, lakes and waterfalls to a depth of 3,000 meters.
    UNESCO World Heritage listed Jungfraujoch mountain pass (approx. 4 1/2 hours by train from Zurich to the top) is the highest railway station in Europe is located 3,454 metres above sea level. While travelling to the Aletsch Glacier you will be left mesmerised by the sparkling icy boulevard. One can admire a panoramic view from the Ice palace or the Aetsch Glacier.

One can enjoy the Ice Grotto (a long ice cave) and ride the Ice Flyer (a thrilling chairlift) that takes you closer to the ice crevasses.

You can also partake in exciting activities in a fascinating glacier landscape that are on throughout the year such as a ride in the Ice Express Chairlift, taking a ride on the dog sledge, walking across the glacier, skiing or enjoying the thrill on the Alpine Coaster. You can enjoy a wonderful meal at the Restaurant Botta 3000 before you get back to sea level.
