    The Church of St Elizabeth is a beautiful church located in the eastern part of the historic city centre of Bratislava and is popularly known as the Blue Church. The church was built in 1907-08 and is consecrated to Elisabeth of Hungary, daughter of Andrew II. The church is built in an interesting art nouveau fantasy style and is painted in a beautiful sky blue colour.

    Perched on top of a hill, the rectangular shaped Bratislava Castle dominates the skyline of Bratislava. The castle was severely destroyed in a fire in 1811 and was under renovation for over a century and the renovation still continues. The current structure of the castle is mostly a 1950s reconstruction. The castle offers stunning views of Bratislava and in clear weather conditions, views of Austria and Hungary. The castle is considered as the most iconic symbol of the city.

    St Martin's Cathedral is a 14th century cathedral located in the heart of the historical city centre of Bratislava. The cathedral served as one of the city's fortifications and in later centuries various Gothic and Baroque additions were made to the cathedral. It is one of the oldest and largest churches in the city and is famous for being the coronation church of the Kingdom of Hungary. The church is famous the beautiful relic of Saint John the Merciful.

    Devin Castle is a castle perched on a cliff at 212 metres above the ground near the confluence of Danube and Morava Rivers at Devín near Bratislava (10 kms). The castle has been famous for its strategic location since its owner could control the trade route along the Danube and Amber Road.
