Cherai Beach
Resort is located at 40 kms North of Ernakulam city (Kerala,
India). 10
Kilometre long Cherai Beach is the best clean golden beach of
Kerala and is rightly called The Princess of
the Queen of the Arabian sea. It is just in front of our
Resort and is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Dolphins are
occasionally seen here.
The
newly beautified 400 Meters of the main beach with the walkway
adds to the charm. Water Scooter & Speed Boats are
available. We have enough beach benches and Umbrellas. The Pallipuram
Fort built by the Portuguese is 4 Km from here. A typical
kerala village with paddy fields and coconut groves nearby
is an added attraction.
Access:
From Ernakulam you have to take
the boat from High Court Jetty or the Main boat jetty to Vypeen.
From Fort Cochin there is ferry to Vypeen every 15 minutes.
It is 40 minutes by bus from Vypeen. It is also just
22 kms from Cochin International Airport.
