Camp Tusker is located in the verdant surroundings of Rajaji National Park, the musical chirping of the birds, the rousing sound of the forest and the relaxed atmosphere take you far away from the hustle of city life, into the rejuvenating lap of nature. Accommodation here is in comfortable safari tents and true to Snow Leopard Adventures tradition, warm hospitable staff and excellent food are highlights of the camp.

The camp, situated near Haridwar, is a brief 4½-hour drive from Delhi and is an ideal getaway for soft adventure & nature enthusiasts. The camp is near Chilla Gate, Village Ganga Bhogpur.

The many activities possible from Camp Tusker include jeep safaris in and around the park, nature walks, cycling, day treks, rappelling and river rafting.

Rajaji National Park: In 1983, three sanctuaries in the Shivaliks --Chilla, Rajaji and Motichur-- were merged into a large protected area and were jointly named Rajaji National Park after the famous freedom fighter Lt. Shri Rajagopalachari. Spread over an area of over 800 sq. kms, the park is a magnificent ecosystem nestled in the Shivalik ranges. With the Ganga River flowing through, the park is the beginning of the vast Indo-Gangetic plains

How to Reach

By Road: Delhi - Meerut bye pass - Khatauli - Muzaffar Nagar bye pass - Roorkee - Haridwar

By Rail: Haridwar is the nearest railhead. There are three trains from Delhi for Haridwar.
