Camp Redstone is located at a convenient distance from Delhi in the foothills of the lower western Himalayas at an altitude of 3,300 feet (1000 meters) above sea level at a safe distance of 18 kms from Dehradun (Uttaranchal, India), the camp is spread over 20 acres set amidst lush Green Sal Forest by the side of Song River for safe water fun.

Accommodation and facilities

• American safari tents with area of 10' by 12 ', with front zipped entrance, which have two beds with mattresses and sleeping bags/quilts. The tents are pitched in a well spread out area.

• Toilets at the camp are in a central  compound. There are 8 WC (8 western) Running Water Toilets and 5 Bathrooms with running water. 

• Hot water is made available through Hamams/Geysers on request. 

• Lounge area is for relaxing and basking through out the day.

• Informal conference is possible in the lounge in the concrete building seating 40 people in theare style. Basic Stationary like board , Marker and Sheets are provided. 

Getting There : Camp Red Stone is Safely Located at a distance of 18  kms from the Dehradun City . Transfers from Dehradun is via Jeep/ Bus(45 Mins – 1 Hrs  approx). The guests need to trek 1 Kms from the road head to Reach the camp. The luggage will be transferred thru Pony.

Dehradun is connected with Delhi and few other cities of North India by Rail. Jolly Grand Airport is located 25 kms from Dehradun on the Rishikesh Road and gets flight from Delhi (Airport closed till March 2008 as its under renovation).

Distances : Delhi - 250 kms, Mussoorie - 30 kms, Paonta Sahib - 50 kms, Rishikesh - 43 kms, Haridwar - 65 kms, Chandigarh - 180 kms, Nahan - 100 kms, Renukaji - 120 kms.

Dehradun is also visited as a stopover for a Pilgrimage / Uttaranchal / Himachal Itinerary.
