The Bungalow
heritage homestay, is a 1930 built
heritage bungalow located at Vypeen Island (Kerala,
India) having mixture of Portuguese, Dutch and Kerala architectures.
Vypeen, is the
lesser known and visited of the 4 islands off the mainland ernakulam
(Other three, Willingdon Island, Fort Cochin and Bolgatty are all now
connected with the mainland with ferry and road services). Vypeen is
connected to Fort Cochin via a ferry and retains its village like
character even today.
Hosts stay on the ground floor and two rooms of the upper floors along with reading / activity room are available for guests.
Guests are
served with Kerala Cuisine and hosts can help them arrange tours around
the area.
Vypeen is
accessible by Road by taking a route connecting NH-47 via Cherai.
