The
Bamboo Resort is an Eco-Resort located near Rumtek at 20 kms
from Gangtok (Sikkim,
India), overlooking a Panaromic view of the NE-Sikkim
Himalayas. The Bamboo Resort is set on 3 acres of paddy field
in the picturesque farmer’s village Sajong. .
The
Bamboo Resort is surrounded by bamboo groves, subtropical
mountain forest and our own organic vegetable-garden and paddy
field The Bamboo Resort was built to integrate a blend of
Sikkim’s colorful art and architecture.
Attractions
: One can go for leisurely walks exploring the village of Sajong and Rumtek or rent a Mountain bike to explore the area. Also offered are guided one to two-day treks to the Tinjure Ridge from where one can gain magnificent views of the world’s third highest Mountain, Mt. Kanchenjunga. Jeeps can be booked at the Resort for individual sightseeing.
