Khimsar Sand Dunes is a Welcomheritage property located at a distance of six kms from Khimsar Fort (90 kms from Jodhpur) (Rajasthan - INDIA) in the heart of the seven dunes of Akla. It has sixteen huts for accommodation, each hut has a 17-feet thatched grass dome and a lavish area of 300 square feet with independent courtyards.

A water body in the centre makes it a perfect 60 acre oasis of peace. The village is Surrounded by Sand dunes in all Directions. It is Accessible by jeep, Camel & horse.

The cluster of huts resemble the local village hutments known as "dhanis". Each hut has a 17 ft thatched grass dome.the huts have independent courtyards which  provide perfect privacy. The rooms are overlooking the water body with the sand dunes as a backdrop. They enjoy the complete silence & tranquility of the the thar desert !!
