Day-1 Arrival at Bangalore Arrival at Bangalore, a popular arrival point. Typically International flights arrive late evening, so stay overnight around Airport.
Day-2 Proceed to Hassan. Visit Halebid / Belur Temple Proceed to Hassan (200 kms - 3.5 hours), base point to visit Halebid, Belur Temples, an architecturally renowned hoysala era temples within 50 kms radius of Hassan.
Day-3 Proceed to Mysore via Sravanbelagola. Afternoon visit to Mysore Palace. Proceed to Mysore (128 kms - 3 hours) via Sravanbelagoda, a renowned Jain pilgrimage and a heritage site (requires climbing several steep steps). Mysore is a renowned stopover on the heritage circuit known for Mysore Palace. Evening visit to Mysore Palace.
Day-4 Sightseeing and Excursions In around Mysore Day excursions to Somnathpura Temple (50 kms) and Srirangapatnam (20 kms).
Day-5 Travel to Bandipur Via Mysore. Evening Safari. Travel to Bandipur (80 kms - 1.5 hours), a renowned Tiger reserve. Afternoon Safari at Bandipur.
Day-6 Morning Safari. Travel to Ooty. Morning Safari at Bandipur before departure to Ooty (6500 ft asl - 50 kms - 1.5 hours). Ooty is a renowned colonial era hill station and one that is renowned for its heritage hotels, superb weather and views.
Day-7 In and around Ooty Explore Ooty and areas around Ooty (Museum, view points, waterfalls, tea plantations).
Day-8 Excursion to Coonoor for heritage train experience Excursion to Coonoor to take the heritage train experience. Return to Ooty by heritage train.
Day-9 Travel to Pollachi Travel to Pollachi (2000 ft asl - 150 kms - 4 hours), a green area at the foothills of western ghats, Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary and Valparai plantations. Pollachi is renowned for its wide ranging experiences such as village walk.
Day-10 Pollachi Exploration Guests have an option to take Cotton Trail (Textile tour to local ginning, spinning, weaving, dyeing works), Isha Yoga Centre (Dhyanlingam) or bird watching at Valparai.
Day-11 Departure from Coimbatore Depart from Coimbatore (40 kms) for onward departure.
Coimbatore - Coimbatore is the second largest city in state of Tamil Nadu and a major textile and engineering hub. The plantation areas Coonnor and Valparai and hill station of ooty and kodaikanal are accessible from here.
Bangalore - Bangalore (now also called “Bengaluru”) is the state capital of Karnataka and one of the largest Software and ITES (IT Enabled services) center in the world. Bangalore is unofficially now considered as one of the metro cities of India (Alongwith Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi).
Hassan - Hassan is an industrial town located mid-way between Mangalore and Bangalore and base point for guests to visit Halebid and Belur Temples, which are world known for their Hoysala era architecture.
Mysore - Mysore is a heritage destination and well visited for the Mysore Palace and located most centrally to visit a wide ranging destinations around it.
Bandipur - Bandipur is located on the Mysor - Ooty route and is one of the renowned parks in South India known for their tiger sightings and excellent migratory bird population.
Ooty - Ooty (7500 ft asl) is one of the premier hill stations of India. It is known for its colonial heritage feel, heritage train, tea plantations around it, a wonderful weather all through the year (especially in summer) and is home to quite a few renowned boarding schools.
Pollachi - Pollachi is situated 40 kms from Coimbatore on the foothills of Annamalais. The Jaggery Market in Pollachi is Asia's largest of its kind. Cattle market on Pollachi is one of the largest in Tamilnadu. Pollachi is base point to visit Sethumada near Topslip (25 kms) and Valparai (60 kms).
