Golden Swan Beach Resort is located on Murud Beach at 150 kms South of
Mumbai (Maharashtra,
India).
Golden
Swan is the erstwhile MTDC Resort which is now privately run
and is one of the best beach resorts around Mumbai and is
located right on the beach and serves as a good destination
for corporate events.
Biggest
attraction besides the beach is the Janjira Fort that is across the sea accessible by boat/ferry.
Murud
has a long stretch of beach which is very shallow and safe
for swimming.
It
is generally very pleasant throughout the year with cool breeze
blowing all day long. The temperature generally does not exceed
32 degree Celsius.
Murud Janjira offers a lot more
than just clean and quiet beaches. It is accessible by Road
or by boat/ferries. The route one normally takes is
Panvel-Alibaug-Revdanda - Murud
however there is a road connecting murud from Roha also for

Access:
Buses are available to reach Murud from Mumbai (Borivli,
Dadar, Mumbai Central and Thane) and Pune. Guests can also
take Catamarans from Mumbai to Alibuag (Oct-May) and from
there take local transport which are readily available..
Murud-Janjira
is now a popular weekend getaway Ex-Mumbai / Ex-Pune and is
visited all through the year.
