Coastal Karnataka Temple Circuit - Gokarna(2 night)--Murudeshwar (1 night)-Udupi(2 nights)- Mangalore(2 nights) - This is an Ex-Goa Coastal Karnataka Temple Circuit covering all major temples  along the coast of Karnataka. For a leisure itinerary Karwar and Malpe also can be considered for stays.

Suggested Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the activities may vary and depend on prevailing weather condition)

Day 1: Arrive at Goa and Transfer to Gokarna (Approx 150 kms - 3 hours). Visit Shiva temple at Gokarna Beach in the evening.
Day 2 : After Breakfast leave for half day sightseeing of Gokarna covering
MAHABALISWARA TEMPLE, GANAPATHI TEMPLE , KUDLE BEACH , OM BEACH, HALF MOON BEACH AND PARADISE BEACH . Relax rest of the day at the Resort.
Day 3 : Proceed to Murudeshwar - 90 kms from Gokarna (2 hours) visit Shiva Temple at Murudeshwar and the Murudeshwar Beach and other sightseeing points around Murudeshwar listed below (Mookambika Temple is recommended). 
Day 4: Proceed to Udupi (Approx 90 kms - 1 hour) after breakfast. Stay either in crowded Udupi Town or on the serene Malpe Beach. Visit Temples of Udupi as per the list below.
Day 5 : Take a Day excursion to visit Sringeri Mutt, Annapoorna Temple at Horanadu.
Day 6:  Leave for Mangalore (60 kms) via Karkala, Moodbidri and settle at a Beach Resort near Mangalore.
Day 7 : Leave early to visit Dharmasthala Temple and Subhramanya temple and on return visit Mangalore town and do local sightseeing.
Day 8: Leave Mangalore After Breakfast.

Tip : Stay 1 more night at Murudeshwar during Monsoon / Early Winter and visit the Jog Falls

DESTINATION INFORMATION

Murudeshwar (State: Karnataka Category: Religious / Beach Getaway / Adventure)

Yana (Trekking Point) and Sirsi can be visited from Murudeshwar . Yana is situated in the lush evergreen forests of the Sahyadri Range of Mountains. It is 25 km from Kumta(NH17) or can also be approached from Sirsi, which is about 40 km . The road ends 3 km from Yana . The entire mountain ranges are covered with green cover of trees was inviting us to explore them. After walking for 3km all of a sudden appear two gigantic peaks towering around all the forests and mountains, The Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and the Mohini Shikhara. These two shikharas are the ones, which have made Yana distinct from other regions in the Sahyadri and have captured the imagination of generations of people. These two peaks are one of the mysteries of the Mother Nature yet to unraveled as two how there are here in the midst of forest terrain.
