    The Castle of Good Hope is a star fort built in the 17 th century in Cape Town. Built by the Dutch East India Company between 1666 and 1679, the Castle is the oldest existing colonial building in South Africa and considered the best preserved example of Dutch East India Company fort. Originally located on the coastline of Table Bay, following land reclamation the fort is now located inland.

    Located at Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the acquarium comprises of seven exhibition galleries. You can also watch the sharks being fed on Sundays. You can also scuba dive dive with ragged tooth sharks at the aquarium if you hold a Padi Open Water Certificate. A walk around the aquarium takes about an hour.
    Sea Point's main attraction is its long beachfront promenade, lined on one side by hotels and apartments. There is an Olympic-size saltwater pool set right against the ocean. The road up from the sunset-facing promenade is the bustling lined with shops, coffee bars, restaurants, internet cafes and takeaways and a number of of bars and nightclubs.

    Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is spread over 36 hectare having more than 7,000 species and the area is a UNESCO World heritage site. The garden includes a large conservatory (The Botanical Society Conservatory) that exhibits plants from a number of different regions, including Savanna, Fynbos, Karoo and others. The gardens also form several trails that lead off along and up the mountain slopes which are used by walkers and mountaineers.

    Formerly a fishing village, Hout Bay is characterised by its friendly locals and a long sandy beach. Surrounded by mountains, there is a wide range of outdoor activities to be enjoyed in Hout Bay such as hiking, mountain biking, sea kayaking and sunset cruises. The weekend at Hout Bay Market consist of live music, food stalls and wine. You can only acess Hout Bay by three ways: one road joins up with the beautiful Constantia Wine Valley, another winds back to Cape Town past Llandudno beach and the third leads you south to Cape Point along Chapman's Peak Drive.
