Tawang (10000 ft asl) is the base point to explore Western Arunachal higher Himalayan areas. Around Tawang therre are many areas where we found sought after species such as Blood Pheasant, Fire Tailed Myzonis etc. Its a difficult terrain for birding especially with snow all around, however thats where the challenge and adventure lies.
