April isn't the best time for birds in Panna. However we undertook boat safari in Aprl 2026 to evaluate and understand the overall experience. 2 hours of easy sailing (over a hot cup of tea mid-way), some birds and Photography. We got couple of species as lifers and that was a surprise. Overall the Boat safari is highly recommended for travellers arriving between November and March.
