When we started with bird watching, Bharatpur Sanctuary (or Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary as its officially known) we were told is the ultimate destination to go in India. Bharatpur indeed for an entry level birder is an amazing place, as you get to see many Wetland, Woodland and Grassland birds at one location. We understood much later that Bharatpur is just a stepping stone for a professional bird Photographer and there are far better and much more exclusive birding experiences elsewhere. On
