Thirunelveli Temple (Nivalink Trip Dated - 13 May 2009)

Nellaiappar Temple (700 AD) is one of the renowned Shiva Temples at the heart of Tirunelveli. Temple is known for its pillared halls and its temple architecture. Thirunelveli also is one of the five places where Lord Shiva is depicted in a dancing pose. The Copper Hall of Dance is housed within the inner precincts of the temple.
