Balatonfured Park

Tagore Promenade is a beautiful promenade along the shores of Lake Balaton. The promenade is named after the Nobel Prize winning Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, who planted a lime tree in a Balatonfured park, after he had a successful heart cure in a hospital/spa here. The promenade is dotted with many lime trees planted by other famous people who were cured here.
