Qasr al-Bint Temple

Unlike other rock carved structures in Petra, the Qasr al-Bint Temple is constructed and is estimated to have been built around 30 BC by the Nabateans. The temple complex was later used by the Romans and was destroyed around 3rd century AD. Archaeologists believe that the temple was 23 ft high and had impressive columns and raised platforms.
