Kala Academy

The Kala Academy is a representation of the culture and art of the people of Goa and a variety of cultural programmes are held here. International Film Festival of India is held here in November. The architecture of the building (designed by Charles Correa), its different areas, its riverside location are enchanting to arrive just for a cup of coffee. Audiences in the Kala Academy have three venues AC Auditorium, the Open Amphitheatre and the Exhibition Hall. The Kala Acdemy has also four Schools of Music, Dance and Drama viz. Indian Music, Western Music, Drama and Dance
