One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam's iconic structures is a historic Buddhist temple Built in 1049. The temple's wooden base clasping to the single stone pillar represents a lotus flower blooming out of the water. The pagoda hosts Buddha bathing ceremony annually which attracts monks and laymen from across the country.
