Hokoku-ji Temple is an old temple of the Rinzai Sect of Zen Buddhism in the city of Kamakura. Hokoku-ji Temple houses a statue of Gautama Buddha which serves as the temple's principal image. The temple is listed as number 10 on the Kamakura 33 Kannon pilgrimage. The temple is also famous for its bamboo garden behind the temple's wall.
