Dhanushkodi Beach (Nivalink Trip Dated - 15 July 2018)

Dhanushkodi is a 15 km stretch where one can see the deep and rough Indian Ocean meeting the shallow and calm Bay of Bengal. Here one can walk into Bay of Bengal and witness the colourful corals, fishes, seaweeds, star fishes and sea cucumber etc. Dhanushkodi once was a Lord Rama pilgrimage with many temples linked to Ramanaya. Dhanushkodi is from where Lord Rama and his troops built a bridge over to cross over to Srilanka which is 31 kms across the ocean.
