Chamba is a riverside ancient temple town with Laxmi Narayan Temple Complex (10th century) being the main attraction. Chamba is base point for the Manimahesh Yatra (undertaken during month of August/September). Pilgrimage significance of the lake is only next to Kailash Mansoravar yatra.
