The Cathedral of St. Duje (Katedrala Svetog Duje) was a beautiful mausoleum before it was converted into a church in the 17th century. The church has a wonderful facade with a large dome that reflects Romanesque architecture. Dedicated to the patron saint, Saint Duje or Saint Domnius, this place of worship is visited by many devotees from all across Croatia. The cathedral is worth looking at not only for its beauty, but also for the peace and tranquility it imparts.
