Cape Point, a nature reserve within the Table Mountain National Park is a declared Natural World Heritage Site. Located at the tip of the Cape Peninsula, Cape Point encompasses about 7,750 hectares of rich and varied flora and fauna along with bucks, baboons and Cape Mountain zebra and over 250 species of birds. Cape Point offer spectacular view points to the most isolated and serene beaches. It also falls within the Cape Floral Region, a World Heritage Site. The Cape Floral Region is one of the richest areas for plants in the world; it is home to nearly 20 percent of Africa's flora.
