Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is situated in temple town named Antarvedi near Bhimavaram and Dindi. The temple (15th - 16th Century) is situated at the place where the Bay of Bengal and Vashista Godavari, a tributary of the Godavari River, meet. Antarvedi is also renowned for its Neelakanteswara temple (Lord Shiva). Puranas indicate that Lord Brahma has worshipped the idol of Lord Shiva at this temple.
