Rosaville is a heritage hotel in Shillong, capital of Meghalaya at about 150 kms from Guwahati. The structure was built in 1935 by the late Raibahadur Kanaklal Barua, a prominent citizen of Assam and one who served as a member of the Viceroy's Executive Council.
It is a most endearing piece of neo-colonial architecture and the interiors are immaculately appointed with vintage furniture and numerous bric-a-brac that exudes the charm and warmth of a very living past.
