of Project Elephant & Project Tiger. Sight Seeing Options:
Bylekuppe is the second largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet, complete
with a Tibetan monastery with 7,000 monks, a Tibetan village and a flea market.
It is 50 kms from our place, an ideal evening getaway. Irupu waterfall
near Kutta is 40 kms drive.It is great sight during monsoon. Gurupura
is a another Tibetan settlement . Dalai lama visited this place in 2005. They
provide evening snacks for a couple at Rs.15 , an rare opportunity to know about
Tibetan culture. Mysore : Famous city of Mysore is just 65 kms where
Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Lalith Mahal Palace etc. are worth a visit.
