Trichy - Vailankanni(1) - Madurai(1) - Tuticorin(1) - Kanyakumari(1) - Trivandrum
Day-1 Trichy - Thanjavur - Vailankanni Arrive at Trichy. Travel to Poondi (70 kms). Visit Poondi Matha Basillica. The church has a relic of the True Cross, believed to be the one on which Christ was crucified. Travel to Vailankanni 82 kms - 2 hours).
Day-2 Vailankanni - Madurai Visit Our Lady of Vailankanni Church. Blessed Virgin Mary believed to have appeared in the town of Vailankanni. Basillica here is a major pilgrim centre. Travel to Madurai (250 kms - 6 hours).
Day-3 Madurai - Tuticorin Madurai - Tuticorin (150 kms) via Kamanayakkanpatti which is home to Church of Our Lady of Assumption, one of the oldest church in south Tamil Nadu (400+ years old). Upon arrival at Tuticorin visit Our Lady of Snows Shrine Basilica, one of the Catholic pilgrimage centres dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
Day-4 Tuticorin - Kombuthurai - Manapad - Kallikulam - Kanyakumari Proceed Southwards to Kobuthurai (32 kms), home to St. Stephen's Church. From here travel to Manapad (25 kms) home to Holy Cross Church. From here travel to Kallikulam (50 kms), home to Our Lady of Snow Kallikulam. Reach Kanyakumari by evening (45 kms).
Day-5 Departure Visit Maravankudieruppu home to Our Lady Of Snows (15 kms). Thereafter depart for onward journey.
