Detailed Itinerary
Day-1 Coimbatore - Palani Arrival at Coimbatore. Travel to Palani (100 kms - 2.5 hours). Palani is a renonwed pilgrim centre for Lord Murugan devotees. Visit Lord Murugan Temple, one of the six Aarupaiveedu Temples.
Day-2 Palani - Madurai - Tiruchendur Travel to Madurai (120 kms - 2.5 hours). Visit two Arupadaiveedu temples here which are in 10 km radius of Madurai i.e. Pazhamudircholai (10 km north of Madurai), Thiruparamkunram (10 km south of Madurai). Proceed to Tiruchendur (180 kms - 4.5 hours).
Day-3 Tiruchendur - Kumbakonam Early morning visit Thiruchendur Lord Murugan Temple. Travel to Kumbakonam (400 kms - 8 hours).
Day-4 Kumbakonam - Thiruthani - Chennai Early morning visit Swamimalai Lord Murugan Temple (8 kms). Travel to Thiruthani (290 kms - 6 hrs). Visit Thiruthani Lord Murugan Temple. Travel back to Chennai (84 kms - 1.5 hrs).
Day-5 Departure Depart for onward Journey.
