Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Colombo Arrival. Transfer to Bentota. Transfer to Bentota (100 kms – 2 hours). Overnight stay at Bentota.

Day-2 Sightseeing in and around Bentota Morning enjoy a madhu river boat ride in Balapitiya & visit turtle hatchery farm in Kosgoda.Madhu River is also a remarkable place you must visit. Bordering to the coastal village Balaptiya, Madu River flows by adding an incomparable beauty to the surrounding. It’s unique in its beauty, hundreds of islets, mangroves, indigenous aquatic birds & fish creates a green heave in front of your eyes. These enchanting landscapes make people breathless by creating a paradise for their own dreams. Kosgoda is famous for its turtle hatchery- operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1981 to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction. The hatchery pays fishermen for eggs that they collect at night along the sandy beach. Visitors can see huge tanks filled with new born turtle hatchlings. After being fed, the baby turtles are taken to the sea and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness. On completion return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Bentota.

Day-3 Travel to Colombo. Colombo Sightseeing. After breakfast drive to Colombo and enjoy city tour of Colombo including shopping. Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day-4 Colombo exploration After breakfast explore Colombo areas for shopping and sightseeing as per individual preferences.

Day-5 Departure After breakfast transfer to airport and departure for onward journey.
