Day-1 Arrive at Bikaner. Local visits. Arrive at Jaipur and Travel to Bikaner (350 kms - 6 hours). Bikaner is part of Desert Circuit of Rajasthan, known for its ancient Forts, Palaces and Temples. Evening visit to Junagarh Fort and Lallgarh Palace Complex.

Day-2 Sightseeing around Bikaner Visit Bhandasar Jain Temple, Shiv bari Temple and Camel Breeding Centre (8 kms). Take 30 kms excursion to visit Deshnoke Temple (Rat temple), renowned for hundreds of rats manning the deity.

Day-3 Explore Bikaner surroundings on a Camel Take an excursion on a Camel in surrounding villages exploring village lifestyle, cuisine and overall desert experience.

Day-4 Departure Depart to Jaipur for onward journey.

Bikaner :

  • Junagadh Fort - Junagadh Fort is a 16th century fort at 1.5 kms from city centre and kind of dominates city landscape and popular for tourists to arrive for a visit. Fort wears an old look and has some interesting history.

  • Lallgarh Palace Complex - Lallgarh Palace complex is home to some most exquisite palaces there could be. Lallgarh Palace, now a heritage hotel has tall ceilings, large rooms and staying here is nothing short of an experience. Laxmi Niwas Palace here has rooms with most intricately carved interiors. There is a heritage museum as well that is open to all visitors.

  • Bhandasar Jain Temple - Bhandasar Jain Temple is the most beautiful, extensive and visited Jain temple in Bikaner. It is dedicated to the fifth Tirthankara, Sumatinath, from here one can see the Bikaner views.The temple is built of red sandstone and is divided in three floors.

  • Shiv Bari Temple - Shiv Bari Temple is a 9th Century Lord Shiva Temple set at about 6 kms from Bikaner

  • Camel Breeding Farm and Research Centre - Camel Research Farm, Bikaner is a farm engaged in research on camels at 8 kms from Bikaner. This is one of its kind institute in India. The farm is complex of cables stables and enclosures and buildings. One can enjoy camel ride or ice cream made of camel milk. The farm permits tourists at certain hours of the day.

  • Karni Mata Temple Deshnoke - The world famous shrine of Karni Mata can be found in the town of Deshnoke 30 km south from Bikaner on the road to Jodhpur. Karni Mata is worshiped as an incarnation of Goddess Durga. This temple is famous for rats which can be seen everywhere in the temple.
